I was just a little kid with a big-ass dream,

Toy soldiers on the floor, imagining the scene.

Saluting that flag with my hand held high,

Dreaming of the day I'd earn those stripes.

While the world saw a kid with his head in the clouds,

I saw a future making my family proud.

They said growing up would change my mind,

But that little boy's dream stood the test of time!

Through every setback, every sleepless night,

I kept that childhood dream in sight.

From pretending to march across the floor,

To standing in formation, ready for war!

FROM PLAYING IN THE DIRT TO WEARING THAT GREEN,

I BECAME EVERYTHING THAT KID BELIEVED!

BOOTS ON THE GROUND, HEART FULL OF FIRE!

LIVING THE DREAM THAT TOOK ME HIGHER!

LOOK AT ME NOW, LOOK HOW FAR I'VE COME!

THAT LITTLE BOY GREW UP AND GOT IT DONE!

Signed that paper, raised my right hand,

Swore an oath to protect this land.

Basic training, sweat in my eyes,

Learned real quick what sacrifice buys.

Long days, cold nights, weight on my back,

Cavalry Scout, yeah, built for the track!

From the motor pool to the field in the rain,

Earned my place through blood, sweat, and pain.

Nineteen Delta, spurs on my heels,

This ain't a movie, this life is real!
