Sunset on the Sand

Golden rays are falling down, the sun begins to fade

Waves are whispering softly, night is serenade

Lying on my towel, feeling warm and free

Sand between my fingers, as far as I can see

Colors melting together, sky's a fiery band

Watching the horizon, holding nature's hand

Oh, the day is ending, but my heart's alive

In this peaceful moment, I feel the sky's alive

Sunset in my eyes, painting dreams in gold

Time slows down, stories unfold

Beach and endless sky, peace I can't deny

Sunbaking, watching dreams come by

Whispering breezes, gentle and bland

Footprints in the sand, trails of my stand

Evening shadows, dancing oh so grand

Sunset's whisper, nature's command

As the colors fade, I hold this glow

Memories of the sunshine, in my soul I know

Waiting for tomorrow, till I get to go
