Jesus Forgives

I've got one chance one shot

I've got nothing to offer except this alabaster box

I see him, I cry I weep

With my tears I wet his feet

And wipe them with my hair

I kiss and put perfume on them

Yet he doesn't pull away

I am unworthy and undeserving

Yet I still ask that he forgives me

For this sinful life I've lived

And

Jesus forgave me he said I was saved

Gave me peace and sent me on my way

And for that I know I'll be okay

It didn't matter what I did

Or the people that I've hurt

The weight of my guilt, has brought me here

Being told "Jesus forgives, let go of my fear"

I came with something, small I possess

Jesus kept me there, and did the rest

I don't have much, but my faith and my love

Unsure if it's enough

Heard some stories didn't know if they were true

Came here to find out the truth

Jesus forgave me he said I was saved

Gave me peace and sent me on my way

And for that I know I'll be okay

It didn't matter what I did

Or the people that I've hurt

When you have faith

You can be saved

Didn't care about my past or the things that I've done
