Lyrics
[Intro — warped piano, vinyl hiss]
[AKARI — sweet, innocent]
Bad habits?
Me?
…Name three.
[Beat drops]
[Verse 1 — cool, lazy pocket]
Leave you on read
Then wonder why you’re distant
Say I don’t care
Then notice in an instant
Who you followed
What you liked
When you changed your profile pic—
Wait.
That’s not stalking.
I’m observant.
Big difference.
I forgive
But unfortunately
My memory doesn’t
Said I’m over it
My notes app said—
“Girl, no she fucking wasn’t.”
[Voice Switch — high, mock-sweet]
“Akarīīī, let it go!”
[AKARI — low]
I did.
I just remember where I put it.
[Hook]
Bad habits
I got bad habits
Know I should quit
But I’m dramatic
Bad habits
Cute little disasters
Fix one thing
Then pick up another bad habit
Bite my tongue
Then talk my shit
Say “I’m done”
Then check real quick
Don’t judge me
You got baggage
Mine just comes
With better packaging.
[Verse 2 — animated character switches]
[AKARI — prim]
I communicate.
[AKARI — immediately]
Eventually.
[AKARI — sweet]
I don’t hold grudges.
[AKARI — low]
I archive receipts.
[AKARI — annoyed]
There’s a difference.
Stay up till four
Then complain I’m tired
Buy another black top
Like the last one’s expired
Headphones loud
Phone on DND
Then get offended—
Why is nobody texting me?
…Oh.
Right.
[Beat Switch — theatrical]
[AKARI — spoiled]
I want attention!
[AKARI — cold]
Don’t touch me.
[AKARI — sweet]
Come here.
[AKARI — sharp]
Too close.
[AKARI — whisper]
Why’d you move?
[Pause]
See?
This is why I need supervision.
[Rap Switch — rapid]
Bad-bad habit
Automatic
Little problematic
But charismatic
Overthink
Under-sleep
Say I’m chill
Then analyze the punctuation for a week
Period at the end?
Oh, you’re mad.
Don’t lie.
「大丈夫」って言いながら
全然大丈夫じゃない
忘れたって言ったけど
忘れるわけがない
I know, I know
That’s toxic-ish
[Beat cuts]
“Ish” is doing a lot there.
[Verse 3 — beat gets darker]
But here’s the one
I don’t joke about:
I disappear
When I need somebody most
Turn pain into a punchline
Before it gets too close
Act like nothing hurts me
If I laugh before it lands
That’s probably the worst one.
…Anyway.
[Beat snaps back]
[Final Hook — bigger, playful]
Bad habits
I got bad habits
Self-aware queen
Still haven’t unpacked it
Bad habits
Cute little disasters
Could work on myself—
But this beat came faster.
Bite my tongue
Then talk my shit
Say “I’m done”
Then check real quick
Don’t judge me
You got baggage
Mine just comes
With better packaging.
[Outro — mock-sweet]
So…
You said name three.
[Low voice]
How much time you got?
