The Night the Mayor Kissed Santa

There's a place in Dillonvale where the Christmas lights glow,

With reindeer in the yard and a whole lot of snow.

Mrs. Claus has been busy, decorating all year,

Getting everything ready to spread Christmas cheer!

The Grinch is on the porch, and the snowmen stand tall,

There's a thousand little lights shining over it all.

But nobody expected what was coming that night,

When the Mayor saw Santa underneath those Christmas lights!

Oh, Shelly kissed Santa! Somebody tell the town!

Old Saint Nick was blushing, couldn't keep his laughter down!

At Mrs. Claus' Christmas Village, underneath the stars,

The Mayor stole a Christmas kiss and nearly stole his heart!

Ring those bells, let the whole town know,

There's Christmas mischief wherever you go!

Oh, Shelly kissed Santa, what a sight to see,

Only in Dillonvale, where Christmas comes with glee!

Santa came to visit, just to spread some Christmas cheer,

But Mayor Shelly Dulesky had a different idea!

She leaned in for a smooch, and the cameras caught it all,

Now Santa's got a story for the North Pole Christmas Ball!

The elves are all giggling, Rudolph's shaking his head,

Mrs. Claus heard the news and here's what she said:

"I spend weeks hanging lights, from the roof down to the ground,

And Shelly gets the headlines when old Santa comes to town!"

Oh, Shelly kissed Santa! Somebody tell the town!

At Mrs. Claus' Christmas Village, underneath the stars,

The Mayor stole a Christmas kiss and nearly stole his heart!

"Now Santa, I have ONE question for you..."

"Yes, Mrs. Claus?"

"Did you come here to see my Christmas lights... or the MAYOR?"

"HO HO HO! I plead the fifth!"

Oh, Shelly kissed Santa, now the story's going 'round,

From the North Pole all the way to our little Christmas town!

With the lights all glowing and the laughter ringing clear,

We've got a brand-new Christmas story to remember every year!

So come on down to Dillonvale, there's magic in the air,

Mrs. Claus has Christmas spirit and enough for all to share!

And if you see old Santa, give that man a grin,

But watch out for Mayor Shelly — she might kiss him again!
