COKE IN GLASS BOTTLES 172

(2001 Candie-Core, pitch controlled female vocals , glimpses of early drum and bass, wrapped in late 1998 trance tone ~172 - 192 BPM)

I have a serious addiction

To processed sugar

It's really starting

To dawn on me

I could eat sugar

All day long

Sugar would keep me awake

Feeling my addiction

All day

All night

Everywhere

And wherever

However

Now it keeps me awake

Too long

One day

The supply

Must run out

I'm sure

I could settle

For honey

Do natural flavors

Grow on trees?

Wide glass Coke bottles

Styrofoam labels

Cold in the hand

Before mad food

We are our own epoch

Quiet and comfortable

Holding the ability

To remember it through

It's a metaphor

For a transcending state

Exportation

Draws attention

To unknown outcomes

Interested

In development

Without interference

No one

In your lifetime

Will have it

As good

As we did

We're our own epoch

Able to remember

Wide glass Coke bottles

With styrofoam labels

Before global warming

The internet

And mad food

Wide glass Coke bottles

Styrofoam labels

Cold in the hand

Before mad food

We are our own epoch

Quiet and comfortable

Holding the ability

To remember it through

Items were more durable

And never available

Before

We are privileged

Holding the ability

To remember

Able to peek

At the staging

Being set up

To the generation

Of today

The ones born

On the cusp

Some will understand now

Many will grasp this

Later

Sugar keeps me awake

Memory keeps me awake

The supply

Must run out

The staging

Must go up

We are too quiet

And comfortable

Too quiet

And comfortable

Wide glass Coke bottles

Styrofoam labels

Cold in the hand

Before mad food

We are our own epoch

Quiet and comfortable

Holding the ability

To remember it through

Do natural flavors

Grow on trees?

I'm sure

I could settle

For honey

We are too quiet

And comfortable
