You Made A Monster

I used to save your name in my phone like it meant something.

Now I just stare at the screen and let it ring out.

You took everything you could reach…

Then acted like you were the one bleeding.

Nah.

Now listen.

I gave you trust, you handed me a knife,

Smiled in my face while you gutted my life,

Talked like family, moved like a snake,

Hope every bridge that you burn starts to shake.

You took my loyalty, threw it in the dirt,

Now you’re acting shocked that the damage still hurts.

I ain’t healing for you, I ain’t changing my mind —

I’m just learning that hate can keep me alive.

I! REMEMBER!

EVERY WORD!

EVERY LIE!

EVERY TIME YOU LEFT ME TO DIE!

You don’t get to come back.

You don’t get to come back.

You don’t get the version of me

That still gave a damn.

I FUCKING HATE YOU

For what you did to me!

You took my heart

And turned it into debris!

I FUCKING HATE YOU —

But I won’t let you win!

You made a monster…

Now you’re scared of what you did!

You want forgiveness? Get in line.

I wasted years trying to save your life

While you carved me open with a smile so sweet,

Now every memory tastes like blood and defeat.

I don’t want revenge. I want quiet. I want peace.

I want your name out my mouth, out my sleep.

But the anger still knocks when the room goes dark,

So I put it in a song and I tear it apart.

I was there when nobody stayed…

You were the one who walked away…

And now you want me to pretend

You didn’t turn a friend into an enemy.

YOU.

DON’T.

GET.

TO.

COME.

BACK.

I FUCKING HATE YOU

For the scars you left behind!

But I’m done carrying your ghost

Inside of my mind!

I FUCKING HATE YOU —

And maybe that’s the truth…

The worst thing you ever did

Was make me lose myself

Trying to love you.

So go.

You’re not my friend.

You’re not my family.

You’re not my problem.

You’re dead to me.
