I Don’t Get It

So we gonna talk about the elephant in the room…

No?

Ok then I will,

Tension has been building among us all,

Nobody ever wants to take the fall,

The violence is getting out of hand,

I know everyone can understand,

Darkness is taking over our souls,

Corrupting what we love most,

Are we really blind to see what’s real,

Down on our knees begging for appeal,

I don’t get it, not one bit,

Ripping into others for the fun of it,

What’s the point, nobody listens,

The situation only worsens,

Music is supposed to be fun,

Instead you keep pointing that gun,

Does that make you happy and proud,

I don’t get it, but I know you’re loud,

Wars breaking out across the charts,

Vultures tearing each other apart,

Have you lost your sense, have you lost your mind,

The chaos is nonsense, you won’t see the light,

Darkness is taking over our souls,

Corrupting what we love most,

Are we really blind to see what’s real,

Down on our knees begging for appeal,

I don’t get it, not one bit,

Ripping into others for the fun of it,

What’s the point, nobody listens,

The situation only worsens,

Music is supposed to be fun,

Instead you keep pointing that gun,

Does that make you happy and proud,

I don’t get it, but I know you’re loud,

Now that it’s over are you proud of what you’ve done,

Releasing your rage finally coming undone,

Did you see the mirror, yeah that’s you,

Are you ready to stop acting a fool,

Why must we fight, what does it prove,

Can’t we get along and dance to the groove,

I don’t get it, not one bit,

Ripping into others for the fun of it,

What’s the point, nobody listens,

The situation only worsens,

Music is supposed to be fun,

Instead you keep pointing that gun,

Does that make you happy and proud,

I don’t get it, but I know you’re loud,

We’ve all had our turns at number one,

Just make music for fun…

Like me, thanks my loves!
