Lead Us in Prayer

I’ve been holding this quiet longing,

A hope I’m almost scared to share.

I’ve hinted, prayed, and waited

For the moment you’d take us there.

’Cause I don’t want to push you forward,

I just want your willing heart…

To reach for mine in the stillness

And let God be where we start.

I’m not asking you to be perfect,

Just willing to open that holy door…

’Cause I feel closest to you

When you let your spirit share something more.

Lead us in prayer,

Let your faith wrap around me.

Call on the Lord,

Let His peace surround me.

Nothing feels closer

Than your voice in the air…

Baby, take that step—

And lead us in prayer.

You carry burdens I can’t measure,

And you stand strong through every day.

But strength isn’t just in silence—

It’s in the courage to bow and pray.

If you’d take my hands and lead us,

I’d follow you without fear…

’Cause your voice speaking Jesus

Is the safest place I could ever be near.

You don’t have to say it fancy,

Just speak from the heart you already show…

I just want to meet you in a moment

Where heaven feels close.

Lead us in prayer,

Let your faith wrap around me.

Call on the Lord,

Let His peace surround me.

Nothing feels closer

Than your voice in the air…

Baby, take that step—

And lead us in prayer.

And if you’re unsure where to start,

Just whisper His name…

I’ll be right here beside you,

Letting grace fill the space.

There’s a love that grows deeper

When we lift our hearts there—

Baby, guide me to Jesus…

Lead us in prayer.

Lead us in prayer,

Let your faith wrap around me.

Call on the Lord,

Let His peace surround me.

Nothing feels closer

Than your voice in the air…

Baby, take that step—

And lead us in prayer.

And when the prayer is finally spoken,

And the room is still and bare…

I’m right where I’ve always wanted to be—

In your arms, led in prayer.
