Eden Remebers

Gate of wind and rusted light,

Grass that angles into night.

Footprints sink in living loam,

Every exile points to home.

Leaves recite our earliest breath,

Water mirrors birth and death.

We were ash that fled the flame—

Here the trees still speak our name.

Lay your fear beside the stone,

This was never walked alone.

Eden remembers—more than a place,

It keeps our names in shaded grace.

Come as you are, with broken fruit,

The ground will hold your tender root.

Eden remembers—soft and clear,

What we forgot is growing here.

Bend to the soil, forgive the wound—

Love is buried, love is hewn.

Spades of mercy, hands of rain,

Turn the hunger into grain.

Serpents made of rumor fade,

Only labor, only shade.

No bright sword to bar the way,

Only work and only day.

We left bitter, thin, and torn—

Now we graft a second dawn.

Lay your weapons down to rest,

Let the heartbeat till the crest.

Eden remembers—more than a place,

It keeps our names in shaded grace.

Come as you are, with broken fruit,

The ground will hold your tender root.

Eden remembers—soft and clear,

What we forgot is growing here.

Bend to the soil, forgive the wound—

Love is buried, love is hewn.

Unlearn the famine of the self,

Share the orchard’s hidden wealth.

Drink the river, break the fast—

Let the first word be the last.

Eden remembers—open, wide,

All our losses turned to tide.

Plant your sorrow, let it mend—

What begins will also end.

Eden remembers—sing it low,

Green from ashes, root from snow.

Hands in earth, and eyes that see—

We were lost… and here we be.
