ONA VALE — “ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF”

They told me, “Sing something pretty.”

I said, “I’d rather sing something true.”

Mm… Vale.

My name is Ona Vale

I make secrets sound beautiful

Turn red flags into melodies

And heartbreak into something you can move to

Canto por la que dijo, “Estoy bien”

While crying when the door closed

For the one who loved too hard

And the one who finally let go

Every scar has a rhythm

Every silence leaves a clue

You came here to meet me—

But I came to sing about you

Ona Vale

Remember the name

Love told the story

I gave it a voice

If this already feels like your life…

Maybe we’ve met before.

Mm… Vale.
