Built From Everything

Yeah…

I ain’t perfect, never claimed to be,

But every scar tells a story of me.

From a little kid with a thousand dreams,

To a grown man fighting for everything.

Youngest of five, had to find my place,

Different towns, different roads, same face.

Had a heart full of dreams and a head full of doubt,

Had to lose a little light just to figure me out.

From the woods at Job Corps to that Army green,

Chasing something bigger than a childhood dream.

Cavalry blood, yeah, I earned my pride,

But the strongest battles happen deep inside.

I’ve been broken, been tired, been down on my knees,

Still found a reason to get up and believe.

Some days I’m a soldier, some days I’m just a man,

Trying to give the world the best that I can.

And I hear that little boy inside,

Saying, “Look how far we’ve come tonight!”

Every road, every loss, every victory,

Made the man standing here as me!

I’M STILL HERE! I’M STILL STRONG!

TURNED MY PAIN INTO A SONG!

GOT A HEART THAT WON’T BACK DOWN,

EVEN WHEN THE WORLD SPINS ’ROUND!

I’M STILL ME! I’M STILL PROUD!

GONNA MAKE MY PEOPLE PROUD!

I ain’t defined by what I’ve been through,

I’m defined by what I choose to do!

Got a son looking up, gotta show him the way,

That a good man keeps loving on his hardest days.

Got my family, my brothers, the ones who stayed,

Every hand that held me helped light the way.

Got Nox by my side, got dreams in my chest,

Got a whole Rides Family cheering my best.

From a livestream screen to a bigger stage,

I’m still writing hope on another page.

And if these knees slow down my stride,

They can’t take the fire I carry inside.

I don’t need a crown, don’t need the fame,

Just leave this world better than the way I came!

If I could meet that younger me,

I’d say, “Kid, you’re everything you hoped you’d be.

Not because you won every fight,

But because you never stopped choosing light.”

And when my final chapter’s through,

I hope they say, “He showed up, he stayed true.”

I’m a son, a father, a soldier, a friend…

I’m not everything I dreamed I’d be…

But that little boy would be proud of me.
