Mighty Hand

When the road runs wild and the night comes down,

When the storm rolls in and the lights burn out,

I feel Your steady rhythm calling through the sound—

A spark in the dark, turning me around.

Step by step, I’m moving ahead,

Faith like a fire with the fear all fled.

Through the thunder, through the shifting sand,

I keep my eyes on Your mighty hand.

Guide my path, lead me on,

Through the midnight till the dawn.

When the ground shakes, when the waves expand,

I’ll keep walking with Your mighty hand.

Oh, Your mighty hand—

Lift me up and help me stand.

Through every valley, every promised land,

I’ll keep walking with Your mighty hand.

I won’t turn back when the wild winds blow,

There’s a deeper current underneath the flow.

Your light cuts through where the shadows stand;

I find my way when You guide my path.

Step by step, I’m moving ahead,

Hope like a drumbeat inside my chest.

Through the thunder, through the shifting sand,

I keep my eyes on Your mighty hand.

Guide my path, lead me on,

Through the midnight till the dawn.

When the ground shakes, when the waves expand,

I’ll keep walking with Your mighty hand.

Oh, Your mighty hand—

Lift me up and help me stand.

Through every valley, every promised land,

I’ll keep walking with Your mighty hand.

Lead me on, lead me on—

Your light is rising with the dawn.

Hold me close, help me stand—

I am safe in Your mighty hand.

Guide my path, lead me on,

Turn my fear into a song.

When the ground shakes, when the waves expand,

I’ll keep walking with Your mighty hand.

Oh, Your mighty hand—

Through the fire, through the land.

Every heartbeat, every step I take,

I’ll follow where You lead the way.
