beneath the northern sky

I learned young how to face the cold,

How to stand when the nights took hold.

I watched good men as they left with the tide,

And i learned hoe to carry what they left behind.

I have slept beneath the open skies,

With winter wind and ravens flying high.

I prayed to the gods through the northern rain,

But no voice came — so I called my name..

I wasn't the chosen,

Oh no I wasn't spared.

But I was forged by all the roads

That nobody even dared.

I will find a way,

Or I'll make one.

I'll walk through the storm,

Till the battle is won.

If the road is long,

I'll walk till dawn.

At the cold wind howl— I will carry on.

I will find a way,

Or I'll make one.

While I still have the breath in me ,

Oh-oh- My journey goes on,

(ravens fly)

Oh-oh - beneath the northern sky.

I carry old words like stones in my chest,

Voices that told me I'd never be blessed.

Every scar has a story to tell,

Every hard road taught me how to stand well.

I have known the weight of a winter night,

I have stood alone beneath northern lights.

But something inside me refuses to bend,

A heart made stubborn by where I have been.

I don't trust fate

To choose my road.

I trust these hands

To carry the load.

Let the gods decide

What waits beyond—

I'll face the morning

And carry on.

I will find a way,

Or I'll make one.

I'll walk through the storm,

Till the battle is won.

If the road is long,

I'll walk till dawn.

At the cold wind howl— I will carry on.

I will find a way,

Or I'll make one.

While I still have the breath in me ,

Oh-oh- My journey goes on,

(ravens fly)

Oh-oh - beneath the northern sky.

If the gods grow silent,

I'll still hear your call.

If the winter takes all land,

I'll stand through it all.

Let the thunder shake the mountains,

Let the northern winds blow.

I've walked through the darkness,

I've learned how to grow.

Hear the thunder!

(Hear the call!)

(I may fall)

( I may fall)

But then I'll rise again,

I'll face the dawn.

I will find a way,

Or I'll make one.

I'll walk through the storm,

Till the battle is won.

If the road is long,

I'll walk till dawn.

At the cold wind howl— I will carry on.

I will find a way,

Or I'll make one.

While I still have the breath in me ,

Oh-oh- My journey goes on,

(ravens fly)

Oh-oh - beneath the northern sky.
